After Cherie Curry Left the Runaways, Joan Took over singing their hit Cherry Bomb. Joan's style of rock adds a more aggressive sound but Cherie puts emphasis on certain lyrics that made the song the rock'n roll anthem it was. thoughts on comparisons are always welcome. So which was better version? Is there a comparison even there, or does one sound just as good as the other?

Joan Jett Interview on the Henry Rollins Show

During this interview with Henry Rollins, Joan Jett discusses the differences in the sound of her music from when she first started to now. She has more interesting things to talk about with her lyrics that can be heard on her newest album, Sinner, which was released in 2006. Jett also expands to political topics that she is interested in and how they influenced her music, including taking trips to Iraq after the terrorist attacks on 9/11. It is a new face of Joan that is not the typical rocker that we perceive from her music. Instead, we get to hear her stance on political issues and how she has grown as an individual.
